The “lockdown for the unvaccinated” is over. Starting today, Monday, people who have foregone a vaccine can once again move freely without fear of punishment. Practically, the impact is minor, as 2G continues to apply in much of public life. For example, unvaccinated people are still prohibited from visiting events, pubs, or stores that do not deal with daily needs.
What people without vaccination are now allowed to do again is to move outdoors even without a valid reason, as well as visit friends. Previously, after all, people were only allowed out of the house for certain purposes, such as going to work, buying food or medicine, playing sports, or going for a walk.
In February, however, further relaxations are imminent, but the vaccination obligation will apply.
